Trowbridge Inspired Art, Prints & Postcards

Are you looking for a unique gift for someone with a connection to Trowbridge?

At Doodlicious, you’ll find quirky illustrated postcards, greeting cards and art prints celebrating Trowbridge, the county town of Wiltshire.

Each design captures recognisable buildings, local landmarks and the character that makes our county town special. Whether you’re a proud local, a former resident, or simply someone who loves Wiltshire, Doodlicious artwork celebrates the places people know and love.

The Story Behind Doodlicious

I’m Helen, a designer and illustrator with strong connections to Trowbridge, and the creator behind Doodlicious.

My career in design began at Bath Midway Litho Limited, where I worked alongside Mike Prior to help create the Wiltshire Flag.

Today, I run my own design business, HP Source of Design, from my office in Corsham, Wiltshire. I have been providing graphic design and print management services to clients across the UK for more than 18 years.

Alongside my design work, you may also find me working part-time at HB Pitt Garden Shop—usually on Wednesdays or Thursdays—so do pop in and say hello.

How Doodlicious Began

The idea for Doodlicious came after visiting my daughter in York, where I discovered an art fair filled with quirky illustrations of local landmarks.

It sparked an idea.

I had already created a sketch of HB Pitt Garden Shop for their carrier bags, and it made me realise how fun it would be to create a series of illustrated scenes inspired by places closer to home.

Celebrating Trowbridge Through Art

While towns such as Bradford-on-Avon, Bath, Lacock, and Corsham are often featured in prints and tourist artwork, I wanted Doodlicious to focus on Trowbridge — the county town that many of us call home.

Trowbridge has incredible architecture, fascinating history and wonderfully quirky street names that make it a perfect subject for illustration.

As the town continues to evolve—with improvements to the road layout and the restoration of the Trowbridge Town Hall—it feels like the perfect moment to celebrate it through art.

The Doodlicious Collection

The Doodlicious collection began with illustrated Trowbridge postcards and has since expanded to include greeting cards and A5 and A4 art prints featuring local landmarks.

But who knows where it might lead? There may even be more Trowbridge-themed merchandise on the horizon.

Doodlicious postcards, greeting cards and prints are available at selected locations around Trowbridge, including:

  • BB Vintage - Silver Street

  • Trowbridge Museum - The Shires Shopping Centre

  • Roast and Toast - Market Street

  • St James’ Church - Church Street

Celebrating Our County Town

Doodlicious is all about celebrating Trowbridge and the character of Wiltshire through illustration.

Whether you call it Trowbridge, TrowVegas, or simply home, there’s plenty here worth appreciating.

Why is Doodlicious called

Doodlicious?

Because “doodle” meets “delicious” — a playful mash-up that says exactly what we are: delightfully tasty little bites of art.

Driven by curiosity and built on purpose, Doodlicious is where bold thinking meets thoughtful execution. We doodle about local stories, history, and the odd corners of Trowbridge, then turn those sketches into vibrant prints, postcards, and custom commissions you actually want to hang on your wall.

What does that mean for you?

  • Quirky concepts with heart: each piece starts as a curious idea and becomes something meaningful.

  • Thoughtful craftsmanship: bold designs, carefully executed so they feel useful and joyful.

  • Local love: many works draw on Trowbridge and nearby history — familiar, but with a wink.

Let’s create something meaningful together — one delicious doodle at a time.
